Using festival design as a platform for regeneration; create a design scheme for Port Eliot Festival, which is inspired by your personal enquiry and response to the site. Your design can focus on an area/tent or a collection of interventions. You will study the social and cultural issues with public spaces and the relationships between the space and the users.
Your designs will study the long-term impact on the social & economic growth of the area, the impact on the duration of the festival but also afterwards. How can your design be adapted to move into the community or the design be evolved annually. How can you increase the festivals profile, building its reputation locally and nationally?
